An exploration of solo-hiking on the Cornish coast, and what I think about when I walk. In this project, I explore ideas of immersion and walking/hiking and melancholy in my study of the Cornish coastal landscape. The project is about being immersed in the Cornish coastal landscape, away from the pull and push of my daily life, to allow myself to enter a mental and physical space where I can reflect on loss, grief, parental bereavement, separation from my children, aging, and mortality.
