Trenches at Brook Farm

Whilst not much has happened on the farm in recent months, I understand that the farmer has agreed to relinquish his tenancy next year and a week or so ago some trenches started appearing across the acreage. I am not entirely sure what these are for, but they will clearly be associated with the house builders forthcoming plans.
