Trenches at Brook Farm

Whilst not much has happened on the farm in recent months, I understand that the farmer has agreed to relinquish his tenancy next year and a week or so ago some trenches started appearing across the acreage. Following a geophysical survey on the surface, these trenches are now open where anomalies were seen. Once the Cambs County archeologist has been to inspect them they will be filled in again.
